Polyvance 8000 NITRO-FUZER Nitrogen Plastic Welder, Analog, Single Gas, No Cart - URE8000
The 8000 Nitro-Fuzer® nitrogen plastic welder combines a simplified analog hot air plastic welder with a traditional airless plastic welder. By combining these welders in one package, it allows you to make quality welds to virtually any automotive plastic. This is a single gas plastic welder that can be placed on a workbench; simply connect a compressed air or nitrogen supply and a 120V power source and the welder is ready to use. It is designed to be used with compressed air, but it may be used with a nitrogen generator to make the strongest possible welds.
- Easy-to-operate temperature controls.
- Analog flow gauge for repeatable performance every time.
- Element protection circuitry detects low pressure and shuts power off automatically if the pressure drops below the set-point to help prevent burning out heating elements
- Precision flow valve for fine welding gas control.
- Compact, easy-to-handle welding torch gets into tight spots minimizing user fatigue.
- Quick-change hose with integrated wires allows for field replacement in the unlikely event that the hose needs to be replaced.
- Easy-to-use, intuitive controls.
- Integrated airless welder control to allow for repair of thermoset PUR.
- Easily replaceable heating elements.
- Heavy-duty, made-in-USA enclosure for maximum durability.
- A nitrogen generator can be connected directly to the welder for making the best possible welds. A generator can also be used to air tires or supply gas to other apparatus requiring nitrogen.
- Speed: Complete repairs in a fraction of the time of 2-part adhesives. Weld 4 to 6 inches per minute, then immediately finish, prime, and paint. No waiting for adhesives to cure.
- Versatility: Do repairs that are not possible with adhesives. Mounting tabs (thick or thin), grille bars, high-stress areas, flexible tabs, and fender liners. Not just for automobile plastics.
- Cost Savings: An average 6-inch repair costs less than $2.00 when welded. With a 2-part adhesive, you pay more than that just for the mixing tip! The total cost of the same size adhesive repair can be over $40.00!
